Swati Pal, Professor and Principal, Charles Wallace and John Mc Grath Theatre Studies Scholar, has been an educationist since the past 27 years.
Swati has a long standing interest in performance studies , creative and academic writing and education which is evidenced by her publications , one of which, Creative Writing, A Beginners Manual (co authored) is a prescribed text by many universities. A translator and poet, Swati is the recipient of several awards for teaching and administration and is also currently the Vice Chair of the Indian Association For Commonwealth Literature and Language Studies(IACLALS) .

Ms. Vandana Madan (Department of Sociology)
Vandana Madan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at Janki Devi Memorial College. She joined the college in 1988.Her areas of interest are Indian Society and culture, Environment and Gender.
Her edited book The Village in India has been published by Oxford University Press and is a part of several Indian and Foreign University syllabi.

Dr. Ruplekha Khullar (Department of Philosophy)
Ruplekha Khullar taught Philosophy at various colleges of Delhi University and the department at the DU, South Campus, before she retired from Janki Devi Memorial College in March, 2021.
Her areas of interest are Feminism, Analytic Philosophy and Philosophy of Law.She has articles, including “Freedom”, in Understanding Ethics, Vibha Chaturvedi and Pragati Sahni, ed., Macmillan Publishers India Ltd., 2013, and “Punishment and Human Rights”, in Applied Ethics and Human Rights: Conceptual Analysis and Contextual Applications, ed., Shashi Motilal, Anthem Press, India, Anthem South Asian Studies, 2010, which feature as recommended texts for Delhi University Undergraduate students.

Dr. Saumya Gupta (Department of History)
Saumya Gupta is Associate Professor of History at the Janki Devi Memorial College, University of Delhi. She teaches Modern Indian and European history, and her research focuses on urban social history, Partition studies, and north Indian foodways. She is also Visiting Fellow at the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, New Delhi. She is the Co-investigator for the International Project on Forgotten Food: Culinary Memory, Local Heritage and Lost Agricultural Varieties in India awarded by Arts and Humanities Research Council, United Kingdom for the period 2019-2022. From 2016-2018 she was leading an Indo-Japanese Bilateral Collaboration Project with the University of Tokyo for research on Indian food. She has published articles and book-chapters on the Partition of India and north Indian foodways in national and international journals in English, Hindi and Japanese.

Dr. Tara Sheemar (Department of History)
Tara Sheemar has been teaching in the History Department of Janki Devi Memorial College since 2003. Her monograph titled Plunging the Ocean: Courts, Castes and Courtesans in the Kathāsaritsāgara was published in 2017 by Primus Books. Her research interests include gender and cultural history.

Tannu Sharma (Executive Editor, Perspectives)
Tannu Sharma has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English in Janki Devi Memorial College since 2012.
Her areas of interest include Fan-studies and fandoms, translation and Affect theory. She is deeply interested in technological interventions in the field of pedagogy.
