Kalplata is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of French and Francophone Studies in The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad. She completed her Ph.D. in French Literature in 2015 from EFL-U, Hyderabad. Her research interests include Literature, feminist studies, and cinema studies.
